Subansari Lower Dam

The 2,000 MW Subansari Lower Dam, one of India's largest hydroelectric power projects, features a concrete gravity dam and surface powerhouse. Encardio Rite executed comprehensive instrumentation and monitoring for the dam, head-race tunnel, and slope. The range of installed instruments includes inclinometers, piezometers, joint meters, strain meters, stress meters, borehole extensometers, and magnetic extensometers, all equipped with portable readout units and data acquisition systems, ensuring efficient and safe project operation with real-time data collection.

Extensive instrumentation and monitoring work was executed by Encardio-rite for the dam, head-race tunnel, and slope monitoring. The range of instruments included an inclinometer, piezometer, joint meter, stress meter, strain meter, borehole extensometer, magnetic extensometer, and portable readout units.
